Lee Long Legs

It was still sunny as I headed to the church in the evening for bellringing practice.  We packed in loads of practice as there were 8 of us at practice.  We cantered along to several sixty on thirds so we could swap people in and out.

I should sleep well tonight after that as it was still really warm for practice. I had also started the day with an early swim and again had the pool to myself for a long stretch.  I may live to regret a long swim on a bellringing day as my poor arms may feel it tomorrow!

After my swim, I was starving so headed across the road to Waitrose for some porridge before heading home. Then after cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms it was time to head out for lunch.  We popped to Cranberry Farm at Cranbrook as we hadn’t been there for a long while. It was really nice - I had a very tasty chicken tarragon salad.

Whilst we were at lunch Nina messaged to say her flight had left early and she had also whizzed through immigration so managed to get an earlier train to us.  So at 3pm I was able to collect her from Tivvy Parkway and bring her home to start her visit.

She managed to stay awake until early evening and hopefully a good night’s sleep will see off the jet lag. It is her birthday tomorrow so we will have a nice family day out.  She is fancying a visit to Blackdown Garden Centre as it has a nice restaurant as well as a fab shop so she can treat herself.

The weather looks like it will be nice again so I should also be able to get her out for a walk somewhere so she can explore.
