Courting Possibly?

I've never seen this particular behavior between a male and female Cardinal.  I have seen pairs where the male is feeding the female, but I've never seen them touch beaks briefly and then assume this particular posture for about a minute and fly away separately.  It's not the best mono shot, so I have put a color copy in the extras.  Thanks to Steveng for hosting......
