I did a few chores first thing including making W some flapjack to take to Mallorca. Then I drove to Kirkham to see my friend Sally, a former colleague, who has bought a new house. It needs more doing than I had realised but she and her husband are very handy. Then I dropped a 50th birthday card and present off with tree man who was in denial. I then headed back home and W and I went out for a walk. I have to be up Early tomorrow to drop him at Manchester Airport so an early night is needed.
