The Japanese Garden at Cowden, Dollar

We were a few weeks early for the best of the cherry blossom but there was still plenty to see as we walked round the small loch, walked across bridges and a board walk.

The loch was almost devoid of bird life which we thought was unusual. The only inhabitants we saw were two Little Grebes that were keeping well away from prying eyes with cameras.
