Gannets

The natural world in monochrome is the theme for today and as luck would have it, today I saw Gannets for the first time this year. They were few in number and a long way off, but definitely there. They come from the Bass Rock, the world's largest colony of northern gannets. It is 12 miles away, just visible through today's mist. See the extra. Thanks to StevenG for hosting Mono Monday.
