Greylag goose

we took a walk over to Boxers Lake this morning .  I think there are more herons nesting there than in previous years and one seemed to be doing a lot of flying and still nest building. My favourite photos though were of the greylag geese like this one coming in to land. 
We then walked on to a nearby pub for lunch. So lovely to be able to sit out in the sunshine for lunch at tis time of year.
