Solar powered

Transistor radio.

I bought this recently and the reception is great on it. It’s rechargeable and also solar powered. So I had RTE Lyric FM schmoozing around the greenhouse as I pottered away. Pottering by yourself or having no one to show how much work you’ve done isn’t much fun. Trust me.

I had a very early swim; outdoor laundromat; visited my mammy and then potted up some sweet pea, bell peppers and scallions. Watered everything else as it was actually 30 degrees in the greenhouse today. We are having a spell of totally tropical weather here in Dublin and everything is growing like crazy.

TG4 (Irish station) show the Irish R.M. on a Sunday morning. I missed it yesterday and watched it today on replay. It’s extremely entertaining and the casting is perfect (e.g. Peter Bowles as the Magistrate and Anna Manahan as Mrs. Cadogan). Coincidentally the same episode is on YouTube atm.
