Where Did They All Come From?

So Ms H's first full day with us, up early to catch the 9am Shinkansen to Tokyo, dropped bags off at hotel then headed off to meet G, S, M and C, who just so happened to fly into Tokyo from Seattle/Copenhagen yesterday so we have 2 days with them.

We had a 1am online session with them in March to book tickets to the Ghibli Museum, which is for the Japanese animation studio, so we headed quite far out of Tokyo city to spend a few hours there. It is situated next to Inokashira Park so we walked back through it and came across the most wonderful cherry blossom so far, the tree looked much older and the blossom was much bigger than we'd seen before, and this was post full bloom... it was lovely.

Refreshments were required so we found a micro brewery close by and we were suitable refreshed or 2, and had some food too. That's the 3rd bar/restaurant we've been in where you order drinks/food via a webpage and get served without any interaction with anyone until you pay the bill at the end.

It was a long warm day so back to hotels to get ready for tomorrow.
