Back on the rack

After an early start, we traveled to Gorinchem - slightly worried about the windy conditions.
The photo is in the evening after returning to Middelburg and we unloaded the boat trailer and put the boats back on the racks.
We started in the last block of the race at 15.00 hrs and the wind seemed to ease a little bit. However, the conditions were really rough and this was the first time racing where I had sore muscles from pushing the blades into the wind to make a stroke… very strange. It was definitely not my best row…
But we won our field! Story in the local newspaper
