End of the Day

A very eventful afternoon and no chance to worry about blips.  This one just had to do.  The weather has been very wet so mid afternoon I set off anyway intending to walk to Waterfall Creek.  Early in the walk I came across one of the original Wanaka Walkers who used to walk with us all the time.  We fell into conversation and walked a short distance until the rain and wind made us turn round.  We were well on the way back when she had a medical event that caused us to call an ambulance.  A long wait in the wet but when the ambulance did arrive the paramedic was very good.  I rang her husband.  I left when she was being cared for and husband had arrived.  I didn't get home until after 5.30pm!
