Blipping Forty

Peacock Hall

This building is the part of the original Victoria Wing of the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. It is the only part left of the old hospital and it is as beautiful inside as it is outside, housing offices, and the library. The original RVI was built between 1900-1906 and designed by WL Newcombe & Percy Adams. It has been expanded and transformed in recent years as outlined here. I've been meaning to blip this part of the hospital for some time and although there are still a few too many cars in the shot, with it being Saturday morning it is rather quieter than a weekday. The sky also was rather obliging this morning too!

Hope you're having a cracking weekend!
