A Title For Paige

We spent the afternoon watching the college women’s basketball championship. We were so happy to see UConn win it all in a blowout over South Carolina. Here is UConn star Paige Bueckers checking out in the final minutes with the game in hand, hugging her coach Geno Aureimma. I love Geno, who now owns 12 national championships, the most of any college team, men or women, in the NCAA. This was especially emotional for Bueckers in her final college game. Her freshman year was wiped out in the playoffs with COVID, then she lost in the final four, two times, and losing a complete season to a knee injury in 2023. This was a very emotional ending, and both of us here shed happy tears.

It was equally encouraging to see so many blips from other rallies nationwide, but also from your own comments about the current situation. We are making a difference. We have to believe that.
