Memories!

When I was a child in my grandparent's garden there were a lot of redcurrant bushes and the berries tasted very good. When I visited my grandparents I often got yellow custard with redcurrants.

Yesterday when I was doing some shopping I saw a basket with redcurrants and I just had to buy one. I immediately thought of my grandparents, their garden and the dessert with redcurrants, picked by my grandfather, and yellow custard, made by my grandmother.

Our children and grandchild Arvid (17 months) visited us yesterday and after dinner we had icecream with redcurrants as dessert. You can image I was surprised Arvid liked the redcurrants very much!!!
