Colourful bank
Non stop again today. An early visit from a gardener who looked after Doreen’s gardens for many years who may be able to help give it a makeover. I posted an enquiry on our local community hub and have had plenty of replies so we are trying to arrange times for them to visit. Thank you for your responses to both the problem with the gardens and the death of a neighbour. It was a fillip to read them.
The most amusing activity of the day was trundling Doreen’s fridge freezer the quarter of a mile to our house on a sack truck in the middle of the road. I had asked on the community hub if anyone had a sack truck we could borrow - yes, somebody just a few doors up the road from Doreen’s house. A result!
We both worked hard this afternoon, Susan in the garden, me tidying up loose ends from before I went to America and preparing for a trip to the Railway on Thursday. In snatches of time between these tasks and Planning the menus for next week I was contacting estate agents to try and arrange valuations. It’s all go but I do feel energised at the moment.
Today’s blip is of the bank of a garden seen when we were out this morning. Please you liked the photo of the Terrier yesterday. It’s a diminutive loco but full of character.
