Forest Trails

Late morning we set off from home with our neighbours to cycle along the River Wye, Symonds Yat (Herefordshire, UK) along Forest of Dean cycle trails. We stopped for ninety minutes at The Log Cabins Cafe, Nr Coleford, to enjoy coffee in the sun sat outside.

The ride continued through many forestry tracks around the Quarry in Coleford (Forest of Dean) and back home. A distance of almost 26.5 miles.

The photo' shows friend Archie ahead of me as we start the descent from Staunton towards Symonds Yat. One of the many tracks in The Wye Valley that cyclists come from all over the UK to use. We are so lucky to have such stunning scenery on our doorstep, and getting out and feeling the sun is just wonderful.
