Springtime

The sun is still out after our trip to Warwickshire to two National Trust properties which are only a couple of miles apart.

First stop was Baddesley Clinton, a house built in the 1500 with an interesting history and a garden to wander around.

Second stop was Packwood House.Originally built in the 1600 but restored in the 1930s and 1940s to replicate Tudor architecture. The garden is excellent.

One surprise was a chance meeting with one of the gardeners on Sunday duty. She used to work at Stowe.

A  very pleasant trip with no traffic jams.
