Tulips

OH left early for a Christmas treat which No.2 had organised.  They went go-karting and then on to football.

One of Aimee's friends had asked if she could call in on her way home for the weekend.  We sat and chatted and remembered Aimee and we both had tears.  She said that she felt guilty that when Aimee needed her most, she had a new baby and was not always there for her.  She said that she didn't know what to say to Aimee and felt talking about her life, job, baby and challenges were insensitive.  I do remember the other side with Aimee being frustrated that S was not really attentive or kept in contact much but didn't share this with her.  No point having regrets as they don't help.

Friend M sent me details about Pashley Manor and we have arranged a date to go and tip toe through the tulips.  Girls outing and I agreed to drive.

OH home from football (they drew) and steak for dinner (in the air fryer).  I had a glass of red and then slept through whatever we watched so was probably not a great idea.
