It's a wilting joy!

Pretty decent Sunday.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku took Ben to Caffe Nero this morning and I walked the dog, did some washing and ironing etc.  Then we had some lunch and went out to the woods, the birds were really singing, we used the Merlin app to identify the sounds of so many.. most exciting were Woodpecker and Treecreeper but we barely saw anything, I laid eyes on a pigeon and a blackbird but the rest were definitely hiding from us.  The soundtrack was very enjoyable though.
Back home, Ben and I did some baking and then Mr KCNQ2Haiku went for a run and I cleaned the dog's crate and tidied up the mayhem that is the Shoe Situation by our front door.  So that was boring but quite satisfying.
I did some diary organising with Older Teen and prepped for snacks for Ben for tomorrow and now it's nearly bedtime and the sun is still out and the windows are still open.. what a lovely time of year :-)
