WILD GOOSE CHASE

At RSPB Saltholme this afternoon. For footy fans, the big white structure on the right is Middlesbrough FC's Riverside Stadium. For walking fans, the Cleveland Hills are in the background. For bird fans there are lapwings, a greenshank and lots of other feathery creatures in the middle distance, and I saw a young little ringed plover and four little egrets (I've had a few, but then again too few to mention.... I'll get my coat).
