Temperature +3. Quite cloudy in the morning, sunny in the evening. Some wind from the Southwest.

The funeral went well, but it was so touching to see the great sadness of the family. The second child (although 60 now) of three in the family had to be buried for the same disease. It's the family, especially all children, I appreciate lot. They have been involved e.g. in developing Services and support for people with disabilities in Finland. The atmosphere was warm and positive, however, the man got the farewell he definitely deserved.

Yesterday evening I made a huge, unbelievable find on the internet. An assistive device to the bathroom that's necessary for my independent activities making it possible for me to be at home longer times also alone without help, without it I would need someone with me all days long. I have had the device since young adult, but now it's getting broken and cannot be moved with me anylonger. I have been searching information of it for some years already in advance without success. Now I decided to try once more, but the last time. I've met professionals and experts, but no one knows anything of exactly this model. Other models, once again, aren't for me at all. Those people just have lifted their hands up. Now I found it on a Swedish site and tried to call the importing company in Finland to see if the company still exist. A slightly older man answered the number. He told the device is very available and he served me politely throughout the whole thing. On the Saturday evening, can you imagine. Now I just have to contact Services for people with disabilities. I have been desperate and stressed for this thing for a long time. No one can imagine how grateful I am for my tenacity.

Today I went out only to this time buy a beautiful coloured Hortensia to my mother. She had a birthday two weeks ago, but we couldn't see her then. Tomorrow we'll travel there, to the country, after a couple of months.

On the way back home I captured this Hazel (Corylus avellana) branch, its catkin swaying in the wind starting to bloom with small buds. Then the camera battery ran out of power...  but it was too cold to stay longer, anyway :)

Miracles happen.
