Helios
Reminded yesterday (by both Son#3 and 60plus10) that today is the last day for Luke Jerram's Helios exhibit being on display at the local Seaton Delaval Hall, we popped along this morning to see and photograph it ourselves. The main blip was taken by lying on the floor directly under the sun and pointing the camera upwards (amazingly I got back up again without any difficulty!). It's just as well I took my fisheye lens to get it all in. The extra is a more conventional view.
Seemingly we'd have been better to have visited during one of the evening sessions which they've held there, rather than on a lovely bright sunny day like today, as there's lights moving round inside it which we were only just able to perceive.
It was of course very reminscent of Gaia (by the same artist) which we saw at Durham cathedral in September 2023.
