Studio Saturday
A day of two halves photographically and otherwise. It was the coldest day in a couple of weeks, thermometer barely climbing above zero after -6°C in the morning, so there was a thin layer of snow on the ground from the snowing at about 9 pm last night and the sun was shining.
I had promised to haul some firewood to a summer cottage, so no time for a photo walk, but after seeing cranes, swans, deer and lapwings (and then some) all on one field, I took the camera along in the tractor. I couldn't line them all up in one shot and the deer were already gone, but cranes and a lapwing in the extra.
In the afternoon the camera club had a Studio Saturday, the first of its kind. We have had studio evenings and two-day weekend courses before, but decided to try something in between. It was four hours with three models and ten members participating. Otherwise a very good event, but perhaps too little time to shoot per photographer.
