Berberis Darwinii. Catching the light.
I was tired yesterday as I’ve had to have two visits to the hospital this past week.
The first one was because I was concerned about the end of my healing scar which looked inflamed. The rest of it is ok.
They have been brilliant with me.
The nurses called in the Consultant, who operated on me (both ops), yesterday morning when I was being checked over.
I’ve been on extra strong antibiotics since Tuesday.
So far they’ve not made a lot of difference so another lot for this week.
Then back to see the nurse and a visit with the Consultant again this coming Friday.
I’ve naturally been disappointed.
But it does not impede my walking at all
In fact as I walked towards the nurse when she called me she said “You are walking really well”.
This afternoon we’ve had a walk through the Moor Hall Estate having parked the car just behind the hotel once again.
I so enjoyed it in this gorgeous absolutely cerulean blue sky in bright sunshine. I took a photo of the vibrant Berberis.
Once we arrived at the Farmhouse Bistro, Stephen went back to collect the car and come and pick me up.
Another walking milestone reached for me!
Just finishing my coffee and as he’s now back again we will drive home.
A big dose of encouragement!
