FLORA AND FAUNA
We stayed up at the Gliding Club last night for Ed's party but sad to say yesterday's beautiful weather has been replaced by a biting and fierce Easterly wind, it's jolly cold and flying has been scrubbed for the day.
We enjoyed a good breakfast and over cups of tea and coffee many more conversations were had! One of our friends had just come back from a fantastic holiday which included such places as Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan and Canada (where one of his sons and family live). He showed us some of his fabulous and very interesting photos.
Home in the afternoon for a quiet rest of the day after a very late one last night.
The flowers are Ed's funeral flowers. Ed's partner L didn't want to take them home so we helped her take the beautiful display apart and made up small bunches of them for people to take home. The fauna are two of the many wild horses to be seen on the Long Mynd and there are lots of sheep and lambs out and about now. I saw a particularly tiny and sweet lamb, but Mr HB couldn't/wouldn't stop for me to get a photo (he doesn't understand the need for a perfect blip!!). Our dear Admirer would though!
