Up and running

We drove down to Salford this morning, after the Minx's morning meeting, and then I walked into town to meet Hannah for lunch. 

But before eating we went to Up and Running, which is a great little shop and one that I'm quite determined to support as an alternative to online purchases (ditto bookshops). 

Hannah tried on the Altra shoes - a brand that I really rate - and they seemed to fit well enough, so we got those and then went to Prêt to pick up some lunch. Happily, it was another sunny day so we sat on St Ann's Square to eat. 

And in the evening, the Minx and I went to The Everyman to see 'Death Of A Unicorn', which was enjoyable enough, but critically, I'd have to say it's a six out of ten. Or, as the Minx said, "Silly". 

We rounded off the evening with dinner at Don Marco's, where Hannah joined us, and that was the best Italian I've had in a while (apart from actually being in Italy!).
