Help please.

For the first time in nearly 30 years I have some grass to cut. Apparently this fancy machine got purchased along with the house and I have been informed that it is my weekly task to use on said grass.
Any help or instruction gratefully appreciated but not the long distant type. Lashings of lemonade for any takers.
On a more serious note, we should have a phone line and more importantly broadband on Wednesday and hopefully I will be more able to get in the swing with blip again.
