Blipmeet!

Today I have been having an adventure. I decided to travel by train and replacement bus service to Letchworth, which is Britain's first “Garden City” (although it is a town, not a city) and the home of Britain's first roundabout, though neither of those were my reason for visiting.

I went specifically to meet fellow blipper Ricky Shitpants and his lovely Mrs in the Belle and Beast Emporium they opened there only last weekend. I have to say it is a truly marvellous establishment full of wonderful treats. I would dearly have loved to brought home at least two elephants and one tiger, but for the next while I need to focus on building work not decoration. There will come a time later when I will be able to treat myself, and therefore I have photographed only a small corner of their shop, just to tease you into making a visit for yourselves.

A good long natter, a mug of tea and some ginger biscuits later I went exploring the town. What a splendid place! Lovely architecture and town planning, it really emphasizes the contrast with the kind of housing developments it is my current job to draw. Just look at these roofs!
