A bit of a worry

Up at work time today and the car packed up, Bailey fed and walked and then we headed west. It was a lot more straightforward than last Friday, a stop and I was at Mum and Dad's in under three hours. My little-bg sister was still here so it was good to catch up with her. A walk for Bailey and another after lunch when he seemed quite restless. And then mid-afternoon, I felt like his ataxia was back, his two back paws were touching and he was just standing. Made the decision to take him to see a vet who was very good, gave him an anti-inflammatory injection and some meds and I'm to double his Gabapentin. He seemed to think that we might have caught it early enough. He did eat his tea and I was able to inject him which was one of the concerns so we did leave him to go and visit Mum. A waggy tail when we got back, he is still a bit slow to settle but I am hoping that the vet is right and we have got in early this time. Two new patients on Mum's ward are very noisy. Not sure I'd be coping with it as well as she is.
