My birthday

I’ve had such a great day full of love and joy.

My girls and I met up with Mr & Mrs HCB (of blip fame!) who I call my God given parents, for some lunch and a wander around a very nice garden centre.

I have be thoroughly spoilt by friends and family too, messages with singing on it, videos from others, picture collages and things in the post.

A few years ago before I became a Christian I had a profound sense of loss in my life and was suffering with bereavement.

The past 2 years have been overflowing with love and kindness and I am so lucky to have people who care about me deeply. We all just want to be seen/loved for who we are after all.

Mrs HCB obviously packed up the silly Saturday gang to bring to Lowden and I could see people on other tables smiling at the VERY silly situation unfolding. The best part is watching strangers get joy from it too!

I’m glad they didn’t sing happy birthday, I thought I’d got away with it….alas not, an impromptu sing song in the car park (pic of Mrs HCB) caught me off guard haha!!

A contented bedtime and good sleep is in order before an early start in the morning! Night night x
