Bees on the move

Right by our usual bus stop today. Loads of them, in little sleepy groups, trying out the holes in the wall I think. The weather was cold and grey in Edinburgh again, and the bees didn't seem too happy.

Had my parents round for afternoon tea and then friends over for dinner. Did no packing whatsoever but we don't have an early start tomorrow and our clothes have been washed.

Note: think they might be masonry bees?? Been looking them up, as they look similar to honey bees, as think they might have been emerging from hibernation or emerging from winter nests.
