To be or not to be…

Cleaned - that is the question. J has been researching the cleaning of PV panels as hers have now been up a few years and are showing signs of some lichen at the base. Mine (above) are only about 2 years old

Apparently if one uses a professional to wash them then the cost is into the hundreds. It seems fairly simple with a hose fed pole brush allowing one to do it from the road.

Apparently if they are grubby the performance is obviously affected.
