Trellis And Shadows

Sunlight does wonderful things.

A day in the garden, and it was a productive  and fun.

As well as a load of weeding and sweeping, Mrs I and I planted up two half-barrels with some greenery, some Aubretia, and some Pink Saxifrage.

The barrels are heavy when empty. I had to carefully roll them down the drive before placing them in position. It took four 60 litre bags of compost to fill them, but it was worth the effort. We are pleased with the results!
