Forward looking...

Santander has been glorious this afternoon, warm with a gentle breeze. We enjoyed a long walk along the prom, glad to be out of the car after the long drive here. Coffee and cake in a few cafes hit the spot perfectly.

We'll be swapping the coffee later on for wine with tapas taking in the Saturday night bar life.  This is one of our favourite Spanish cities (and there are quite a few). It's a vibrant, happy place, and perfect to decompress before getting the ferry home (but that's not until tomorrow).
