New Footbridge at Charlestown

It’s taken MONTHS. And it’s not finished - still closed off. Even though all the cranes and machinery have gone, access to the harbour wall is also still closed off.

I THINK the horizon is straight but the angles of the harbour wall and the footbridge make it look not level.

Very bright and sunny with a strong wind. I met a lady who had just walked from Fowey to Charlestown. It took her five hours!!! She was about to catch a bus back!
