Had a very good forest school training day at Clifton Hall School, Newbridge. They have beautiful grounds.
We were up to all sorts bread making, making things from elder and book binding.
The photo shows 2 styles of bread making, although we did learn 3 ways to make bread. Damper bread over an open fire, flat breads with nettles on the top on a skillet, and spelt/gorse flower soda bread in a Dutch over.
I made a woodpecker from elder, many people made whistles, beads and wands.
