Peiris Japonica

Another beautiful sunny day. Although the easterly wind is chilly. However spent most of the day out in the garden. At least now I can see where I have been. 

Today's blip had to be the Pieris as there is a story to tell. It was here when we moved in 20years ago. And continued to flower as normal. Then it stopped and didn't look very happy fed it etc, and a friend of ours thought that it was time for it to go. But I pruned really heavily one autumn, and the following Spring there was signs of new life. And this is the first time it has flowered since then so really pleased to be able to blip it.
