Wyndford Gone!!!

Today they destroyed the Wyndford Highrises.
Three in one blow!!
Exactly at 12 pm.

I was not there to witness it but I went into the Botanics for having a look at the new skyline.

I photographed those tower blocks a lot in the past - I was even obsessed with them for a while.
So much that I asked someone who lived there if I can see his flat and the view! (A stranger by the way)

Here you see all 4 of them - the right one is the one still standing as they can not blow it up - it will be taken down from the top 


So it is a bit sad to see them gone ..... 

In the evening Neil and I had a "Markethall Dinner" with all the goodies he brought back from Berlin.
I even baked a low carb bread for it ... but we also had a lovely sourdough from Roots and Fruits.
