Different Shells from the Sea
A few years ago, one of my hobbies was scuba diving, and during that time I collected from the seabed, mainly in Lyme Bay, artillery shells of varying size and type. Recently I decided to make a kind of "sculpture, by arranging them all on a porthole I also retrieved from the deep, I believe it to be from SS Longships which ran into Sevenstones rocks off Isles of Scilly in 1939.
The SS Longships must have been significant, for there is a Longships lighthouse near Lands End, but I am not sure what the connection is
Anyway, here is my Blipfoto for today, something slightly different from my usual photographs
