A Very Busy Flower Friday!

It was the last day of this particular session of Friday Morning Bible Study for two groups of ladies and the beginning of a summer book club for some others, but as many of us as could make it came together afterwards  for a potluck lunch and time of fellowship.  After that very enjoyable event, my wonderful husband and I went out on what we thought would be a relatively short search for two reddish poppies that I had seen yesterday and wanted to use for Flower Friday.  They were further down the trail than I remembered and not looking as bright in today's overcast light as they were in yesterday's morning light, but we did finally find them and make it back home.  My identifier calls them Wild Opium Poppies  and says that the seeds have been used for medicinal purposes since Mesopotamian times.  I just call them my entry for Flower Friday!  Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting.......
