White Narcissus

I have a few of these in my garden.  Usually, each stem is topped by a pair of blooms but this stem had just the one narcissus flower at the top, so I concentrated on that for my blip.  I have no idea of the variety name as they came from my mother's garden.

Today has not been as sunny as forecast and it was quite a bit colder as well.  I didn't go further afield today as I had to get prints and mount them for the club's Annual Exhibition.  I have seven of them spread out on the floor right now and trying to decide which five to enter.  One of them, a nature shot, will be my highest scoring print this season, 19 out of 20 - the rest are all modified by my style of processing and somewhat abstract in nature.

I had two such images in the last judged round of our competition and the judge admitted he struggled to know what to say about them and what he did say, involved incorrect guesswork as to how the result had been achieved.

I have won the trophies in the past by producing images to please the judges and that score highly.  Nowadays, I produce  images to please myself.  Occasionally, I strike lucky and a judge will actually like one of them.
