Magnolia Tree

John was busy today with concert preparations so I volunteered to take one of his friends to the Chiltern Hospital for a check - he had a new knee fitted a few weeks ago and apparently is doing very well. 
Back in Aylesbury, I popped in for a cup of tea with him and to see the Magnolia tree in his garden. Definitely past its best but still very pink in the bright sunshine; I've edited it a little!
