Once Upon a Time...

... there was a row of houses here and these 'bricked up' doors were the doors to a small storage area to house dustbins and coal.  They may have been outside toilets, but I doubt it.
The houses have been long demolished but fascinating to see a little of their history remains.
P.S.  My 'trip' out today was to attend the Cardio. Dept following my Monday Echocardiogram.  I am happy to report that I was declared 'fit for purpose'  :-) :-)
