River of Flowers

Friday: Today’s Garden Flowers

We ventured off to Lidl late morning to stock up on basics and a few treats, both of us exhausted so home for lunch.

MrD took his old motorbike out for a run to try out a new seat, happened to pass an old workmate and spent an enjoyable time reminiscing!

I had a stroll around the garden near our garage and took photos of today’s plants just starting to flower:
Top left: tiny flowers of Blackcurrant which is growing through the James Grieve Apple tree near the garage
Bottom left: first few buds of wild garlic
Top right: an evergreen shrub with pretty cream colour flowers, lost the label :-((
Bottom right: Yellow Dead nettle flowers which the bees love but sends runners everywhere and gets thinned out regularly!

Might watch “Have I Got News for You”  if we can stay awake - new series later.

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
