Big City

When I visit Edinburgh sometimes I feel I ought to Blip one of the classic views, or an Insta favourite, or some hidden gem which the touroid hordes have missed (for now).

Then I end up Blipping my lunch or dinner.

Today was one of those.

It was a brief visit. The only purpose was to collect keys from an estate agent. I decided to have lunch while I was there even although it was only 11.30

Being Friday, the mosque seemed the obvious place to go. So I did. Chicken jalfrezi with rice and a drink for £10. Plain home cooking. No frills. Paper plate. Plastic spoon. Wooden fork.

Bliss.

In an effort to conform and Blip something more Blippable I have added a ghost sign in the Extras. It is in Bristo Port, off Bristo Street. John Donald & Co is still there. It has been there since 1850.
