Singing in the cloisters.

It's been a strange day.
We had to shelter from the torrential rain and high winds by sitting in a bus shelter on our walk to the National Tile Museum this morning. The weather's been better in Argyll!
It did get warm and dry later and as we'd walked miles we decided to catch an Uber to the Botanical Gardens. After our Arabic driver had asked the Captain for the secret to a successful life (!!) he dropped us at what he said was the garden entrance.  Turned out it was a car park entrance and we had another 20 minute walk to the garden,  where we discovered it was closed due to the bad weather.
Apart from that our Uber experience here has been brilliant. Very quick pickups and much cheaper than in the UK.
Still haven't been on s traditional tram as the queues are miles long!
We've booked another day trip for tomorrow to see some other parts of the countryside and coast.
My wee legs are wearing out :)
