Setting Sun

Today has been long. Little Man got sent home within an hour of being dropped off at nursery. He hasn't been doing well, coughing and snotty. So my plans for the morning went out the window.

I did something I haven't done in a long time, I let Little Man watch some of his favourite programs on Netflix. He did take many play breaks but it helped keep him out from under my feet. I had a mountain of laundry that needed doing, and I wanted to try to tackle that whilst Little Man was distracted. Since it was a lovely day, I decided to hang the laundry up outside. I also put my winter ski jacket into the wash, as it was looking pretty dirty.

We spent some time in the garden, soaking up the sunshine and cuddling. I think it hit somewhere between 21⁰C (69.8⁰F) and 22⁰C (71.6⁰F) at one point, but with a slight edge of cold to the wind. I took this photo just now, after I'd put Little Man in bed (he's quiet) and had gone out to check the laundry.
