Magnolia

The magnolia in our front garden has done exceptionally well this year. It began life in the gardens at Caerhays Castle in Cornwall where we bought it many years ago. We didn't know at the time what the flowers would be like or how tall it would grow. The white flowers are very floppy. They look miserable in the mist and rain but are attractively delicate and flutter in the Spring breeze, under a blue sky.
