Mag-nificent

We're having today as a deferred Mother's-excuse-to-relax Day and set off for Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds.  We'd been here before, in an autumn when the leaf colours were amazing.  

We thought it worth a return during cherry blossom season and we were not disappointed though what were even more spectacular were the Magnolias.

We spent a very pleasant day there, then headed back for karate training and a game with C.
