Waiting on Spring
Most folk at the allotments are pretty tidy and keep their hoses coiled up and out of the way. Others are less inclined.
Thought I’d head up and just check how things were on the plot (OK) and if the council had turned the water back on (yep), then decided to plant the rest of the Anya seed potatoes. Two rows done, a few left over spuds went into the seed swap box. The Anyas are earlies, two other varieties are still chitting and can go in a bit later. Weeded around the berry bushes for a bit, chatted to a couple of folk, wandered home.
Straight back into the tenpin in the evening but we were playing one of the top teams and were duly thrashed! Played not too bad though so wasn’t too disappointed. A quick pint in Mather’s with JacktheLad rounded off the day nicely.
