T proudly shows Gramma his report card. He got a general average of 96 with his grade in English standing out at 99. 

Only a week of school left and then he gets a two week vacation before summer school begins. He expressed his strong disagreement with having summer school but it appears he does not really have a lot of room to choose as the alternative is worse in his view.
